How is fatherhood for guys from The Rasmus?
I: All of you guys are dads, I'm not. How do you manage to bind together your careers and being a dad? I would think it would be so hard, considering your age and the amount of gigs you play and how much you work?
E: I think this question of being a dad is on everyone's mind who is working as well. You just have to manage to do it, put all the pieces together. And with our job, we are away for long periods of time and then you of course miss your family. But then you use the video skype and all the technical things. I just had a two week vacation and spent it with my family, played with my kids. And it was the best thing, it was the best vacation ever. You can't help it, these are important things. But I also love playing and performing and you just have to have a good dose of everything.
A: Well said. Eero is the most experienced of us in this father thing.
I: It's a different role and a different world. Lauri, a little newer for this father thing, how are you as a father, what kind of role do you have?
L: Well, I'm really sensitive.
E: Little naughty also.
L: Little naughty and little sensitive. Like Eero said, it's this good douple life. I'm at home 100 % with that little guy playing with him and then I go to gigs and do interviews with 100 %. At the moment it feels like it's going on it's own, but sometimes it might feel tough because we can be away from home for 250 days per year and that's a lot. When you come back, it takes like two days to *Lauri rolls his eyes and shakes his head little bit* to get sane. We'll see, but other bands has babies as well.
I: That's true, no, you're the only band in the world who has babies.
L: Take them to a tour with us. Just heard from Apocalyptica, they have been on a big gig and their babies have been there sitting in a row with their peltori's (like those headsets that protect your hearing) on their ears and daddy is...
A: That's so cool, like those pink peltori's with little girls.
I: Has being a dad changed you in any way? Has changeing dirty diapers changed you at any way as a person?
L: You get a lot more responsibility and you understand that. There's those macigal 9 months where you should really be doing some thinking. And you will be more observant and considering of things.
I: Does that affect your relationships with other people, like with your band mates?
L: I don't know. I think that puplic image that I have on the outside world, outside this baby world, can be even more crazier, because that's what happens when those guys get outside, they have been there covered, and we go to a bar and then it's like ding. But we'll see. I can't really tell. I have been a father for 3 months and it's going well.

Como es la paternidad para los chicos de The Rasmus ?
I: Todos ustedes chicos ya son padres, yo no, como es que ustedes combinan sus carreras con ser padres? pienso que debe ser dificil considerando su edad y la cantidad de conciertos que realizan, ¡¿no es mucho trabajo?
E: Pienso que esta pregunta es para cualquier padre y que cada uno debe pensar cual es la mejor manera de hacerlo, tu solo tienes que manejarlo, poner todas las piezas juntas. Y con nuestro trabajo, nosotros viahamos por largos periodos de tiempo y desde luego que extrañamos a nuestra familia, pero existe tecnologia que te permite estar cerca de ellos, justo acabo de tener dos semanas de vacaciones y la pase con mi familia jugando con mis hijos, y eso fue una de las mejores cosas, las mejores vacaciones que haya tenido, esas son lasa cosas importantes. Pero tambien me encanta tocar en los conciertos y tomar asi lo mejor de todo.
A: bien dicho, Eero es quien mayor experiencia tiene como padre.
I : Lauri tu eres el padre con menor tiempo y expewriencia ¿Como padre que rol desempeñas?
L: Bueno, soy realmente sensitivo.
E: y un poco travieso tambien
L: Un poco sensitivo y travieso tambien, como dice Eero esta es una buena doble vida. Yo estoy en casa todo el tiempo al 100% ticando alado del pequeño y despues voy a conciertos y doy entrevistas tambien al 100% , porque tu puedes estar fuera de casa 250 dias al año pero regresas a casa dos dias "Lauri gira sus ojos y mueve su cabeza" Bueno nosotros vemos que otras bandas tambien tienen bebes.
I: Eso es cierto, ustedes no son la unica banda con bebes
L: Haz oido hablar de Apocalyptica ellos los llevan con ellos, y presencian sus shows con protectores para los oidos
A: eso es cool, como losprotectores rosas para las niñas
I. Ustedes piensan que han cambiado de alguna manera? han cambiado de alguna manera compo persona?
L: Debes entender que ahora tienes mas responsabilidad, son 9 magicos meses donde piensas, observas, haces y consideras muchas cosas
I: Esto afecta tus otras relaciones? con los miembros de banda por ejemplo?
L: No lo se, creo que la imagen publica que tengo a nivel internacional, fuera de mi mundo del bebe, puede ser un poco agitada, como cuando salgo con los chicos y tenemos que ser cubiertos, y entonces vamos a un bar y nos divertimos.
Tengo 3 meses como padre y me ha ido bien
